Renato Grieco is a composer mainly active in the field of musique concrète, radio-art and contemporary music. Since 2013 he has performed extensively throughout Europe either with his solo project (under the moniker kNN) and in numerous collaborations as a performer, interpreter or sound dramaturg for dance. The outcome of his music can take many different shapes: from pure acousmatic composition to fluxus-alike improvisational acts; from straight repertoire recitals to performative lectures; from architectural/environmental installations to highly conceptual artifacts, tools and texts. He has been co-curator of the festival La Digestion - musica ascoltata raramente. In addition to my activity as a musician, Renato works as a freelance location recordist and sound engineer at KU studio, Naples.
